Case Notes
This case involves a 56-year-old female patient who underwent anterior torsoplasty and suction-assisted liposuction as performed by Dr. Richard J. Wassermann. The procedures aimed to address abdominal contouring, focusing on the reduction of adipose tissue and skin tightening. The before-and-after images, taken six weeks post-operation, display notable changes in the abdominal profile. The pre-operative photo shows marked adiposity with lax skin, while the post-operative image reveals a smoother abdominal contour with reduced skin redundancy. Surgical markings visible pre-operatively guided the targeted areas for fat removal and skin excision, which are no longer apparent in the follow-up image. The patient's weight at the time of surgery was recorded at 177 lbs. Observations from the images indicate a more defined abdominal region post-procedure, achieved through strategic tissue removal and sculpting techniques inherent to the performed surgeries. Images display an early result and scarring/incisions are not fully healed as displayed.
