What is CoolSculpting®?
CoolSculpting® is a revolutionary non-surgical contouring treatment that uses gentle cooling energy to freeze and destroy stubborn fat, permanently. Over time, the treated fat cells are naturally eliminated from your body. It requires no needles, no surgery, and most importantly, no downtime. It’s safe, FDA-cleared, effective, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Plastic Surgery Consultants is a CoolSculpting®-certified practice, and we have multiple CoolSculpting® certified technicians on staff to ensure the efficacy and safety of this treatment.
How Much Does CoolSculpting® Cost?
The cost of your CoolSculpting® will vary depending on your specific treatment goals. To determine the exact cost of treatment, we invite you to schedule a complimentary consultation with one of our CoolSculpting experts. During your consultation, you will work with a CoolSculpting expert to develop a personalized treatment plan that will satisfy your unique cosmetic goals. At this point, we will be able to provide you with the full cost of treatment. To help make our treatments accessible to those who need them, we accept a variety of payment options as well as financing.
What Can CoolSculpting® Be Used for?
CoolSculpting® is a versatile treatment that can address nearly any fat deposit on the body. It is an effective solution for the treatment of a double chin, love handles, bra fat, and many other concerns. Although it is not an alternative to weight loss, CoolSculpting® can provide significant improvements in the contours of the body while contributing to healthy amounts of weight loss through fat reduction.
CoolMini® vs. Kybella®
Before CoolScultping®, the only non-surgical option available for the treatment of a double chin was Kybella®. Kybella® works by injecting a special formula into the neck, which breaks down fat cells over time. Although this is still an effective solution, CoolSculpting® now offers the CoolMini® — a smaller CoolSculpting® device perfect for areas like the neck. Now, patients can use non-invasive CoolSculpting® technology to achieve a contoured jawline and eliminate neck fat, achieving results in just one or two visits.
How Is CoolSculpting® Performed?
CoolSculpting® is a non-surgical fat-reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling, so no anesthesia or surgery is involved during treatment. The treatment process is comfortable, allowing patients to watch TV, use their cell phones and other devices during treatment or even take a nap! You may also choose to add on dermal fillers or other treatments during this time. During treatment, the CoolSculpting® device is placed on the body where fat reduction is desired. Then, comfortable cooling energy is applied over a 35-45 minute session, depending on the application.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect from CoolSculpting®?
After your CoolSculpting® treatment, you will notice a gradual improvement in the treated areas. Results will become visible within a few weeks, with more significant results that continue to improve up to approximately three months after treatment. Most patients will need multiple treatment sessions to achieve their desired results.
What is Recovery Like Following CoolSculpting®?
Thanks to the advanced, non-invasive techniques of CoolSculpting®, there is absolutely no downtime following treatment. Patients are able to return to work and other activities immediately following their appointment.
